Our Story
Filantropia Foundation was officially registered on February 18, 2026 as a Section 8 non-profit company under the Companies Act of India, based in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
But our work didn't begin in 2026. It started decades ago with Dr. Sajid Husain, a doctor and social worker who has spent over 40 years serving communities — organizing blanket drives every winter for thousands of people, running medical camps for those who cannot afford healthcare, and sponsoring children's education.
Alongside him, Najish Bano, a passionate animal lover, has championed the welfare of community animals for over a decade — rescuing, nursing, and advocating for the voiceless creatures that share our cities and streets.
Together, they formalized decades of grassroots compassion into Filantropia Foundation — a platform to amplify their impact, engage more supporters, and build sustainable systems for aid, education, animal welfare, and health.

- •Sponsor underprivileged children's education from primary school through higher education.

A dedicated doctor and social worker for over 40 years, Dr. Sajid has been at the forefront of community welfare, organizing medical camps, blanket drives, and educational initiatives across Lucknow and beyond.
Najish Bano
Co-Founder & Secretary
An animal lover and tireless advocate for community animals, Najish has devoted years to giving voiceless creatures a voice and building social influence for animal welfare causes.
