The People Behind the Mission
Dr. Sajid Husain
Founder & President
For over 40 years, Dr. Sajid Husain has been synonymous with selfless service in Lucknow. As a practising doctor, he has organized countless free medical camps for communities who cannot afford basic healthcare. Every winter for the past 8 years, he has personally led blanket drives, distributing warmth to more than 5,000 homeless individuals. His passion for education has resulted in multiple children from underprivileged backgrounds receiving full sponsorship for their schooling. Dr. Sajid's four-decade journey of service is the bedrock upon which Filantropia Foundation stands today.
Najish Bano
Co-Founder & Secretary
Najish Bano is the heart behind Filantropia Foundation's animal welfare programs. For more than a decade, she has been a tireless advocate for community animals — rescuing injured strays, arranging veterinary care, feeding abandoned animals, and campaigning for stronger animal protection in her locality. Her efforts have given voiceless creatures a voice and inspired dozens of community members to participate in animal welfare. Najish believes that a compassionate society must extend its care to all living beings, and her daily actions embody this principle.

Helped organize logistics for the 2025 winter drive, ensuring blankets reached 800+ families in remote areas around Lucknow.
